I’m Reyna a Mexican-American girl who grew up living in two countries finally settling in one, taking on the coffee and culture of Mexican-American Culture of California. “On the run” is my blog, and mostly exists to share stories about my run towards self-improvement, to share stories and links to interesting stuff I encounter in my online travels. I love discovering interesting blogs and bloggers from around the world, and reading feedback of the people who find themselves at my site. If we haven’t met yet, I hope you’ll say hello.
I’m a jack of all trades master of none, I am mother, wife, former tattoo artis, painter, photographer and social worker. I am an eternal novice creative writer, and play trains very well with my toddler son and have mastered the art of movie watching. My collection of items includes an antique typewriter that I carry in my car so my husband doesn’t dispose of it, a supply of Clorox wipes and a slew of cookie crumbs.
Photography is my other creative passion, and I love to share the images that I capture on this blog I’ve created. My goal this 2015 is to keep this blog
updated with the journey to lose weight, and many more interesting things. I like to dabble in painting and sketching, although I don’t think I’m very good at either and other crafty pursuits. I keep paper journals, and have a potentially unhealthy addiction to pens, colors, markers and paints. I love to learn to do everything but can’t seem to stick to long on one.
I belong to two brown-eyed boys: my husband Ric, and a toddler son Jordan. I’m lucky enough to have some truly wonderful friends and plenty to be thankful for. I hope you’ll enjoy my blog.
